Obtaining Russian visa for your trip
When planing a trip to Russia, you need to check if you require a visa. In order to obtain a Russian visa, you require an officially issued Tourism Invitation, often also called Tourism Voucher.
Only tourism companies that are officially recognized by the Russian Foreign Ministry are allowed to issue tourism invitations.
Here you will find a few steps that you need to follow in order to obtain Russian visa:
1. Get your Tourism Invitation.
You can apply for a Tourism Invitation via our agency. Normally, it takes up to 24 hours to issue the Tourism invitation. Please note, that the Tourism invitation can be issued for stays up to 30 days.
2. Apply for your visa online. Fill out the visa application and prepare the following documents:
a. Valid Passport (Note that your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your departure from Russia, and must have two adjacent blank pages to accommodate the visa)
b. Passport photograph
c. Tourism Invitation
d. Application form
e. Medical insurance
e. Consulate fee
In most countries, you can send these documents to the Russian embassy via your local post office or you can also schedule a visit to the Russian embassy yourself.
Applications are normally accepted by the Russian embassy from 30-60 days before your arrival (depending on your country).
